Both real and fictitious places are at the center of the new special exhibition at  museum gugging, which combines the oeuvre of four great  Gugging artists.

August Walla's work presents not only the Eternity’s-End-Land but also other fictitious as well as real places. His photographs offer insights into his life, showing his living and working spaces, which he always used as the backdrop for his productions.

Leopold Strobl's small-format works show landscapes. He manipulates cut-out newspaper photographs with a pencil and thus gives them a mysterious character.

Leonhard Fink constructs countries, regions and cities as maps in his drawings, which contain a wealth of infrastructural, architectural and agricultural details.

Karl Vodal shows viewers his dream and longing places. His erotic, pastel-colored depictions mostly feature palm trees and white beaches - with Karl Vondal and his lover in between.
